It's really nice, pretty, but... it's supposed to say "turning" instead of "turn"... that's the first thing I noticed, but still very nice, I was just too lazy to send anything
.....the drawing is nice..its really good...but the random chosing wasnt really interesting...anyone could have won...but still i like the drawing..nice artwork MissDoom :)

It was random, they said so on the announcement, I didn't realize it until I had already started mine haha, but I'm glad I put a lot of effort into it, I would have felt a bit guilty if I won with something I had put little time into.
And don't lose hope!! there's always next year!

Yeah, I agree with you. And did you notice that this picture was in the first page of the Facebook profile? They didn't even take a look at the rest of the pictures to choose the winner... v.v
I feel sorry for many people who sent great pictures. And I also feel sorry for myself because I sent many, one of them actually was in the second page... but well, we can't complain since they said it would be chosen randomly :S

hey im agree with you...i know a lot of people submited their art like me the strawberries and chocolate i thought it was a great combination to show on valentine's day but well i think its beautiful that drawing but like you said there were more creative pictures

I wish I could draw well; but.. for me, that draw is VERY DEPRESSING, it looks like a funeral wreath or something like that.

My intention wasn't to make it look like a funeral wreath at all. I wanted the heart to represent Spring, with lots of pretty flowers, and the rest of it, the 'agram' i guess you could say, represented Winter. HIM has always shown an interest in opposites, "Dark Light" being the obvious example. I wanted to incorporate that along with the song "Under the Rose" [I dream of the winter in my heart turn to spring] and this is what I came up with. I wanted it to be a happy picture, nothing depressing, more hopeful. Spring time taking over the heart.
But I guess everyone views art in their own unique way ^^
As for the competition, it was clearly stated that the grand prize winner would be chosen at random. I also think it would have been nice for it to be more of a competition of talent and creativity, but that was heartagram's choice, and in their defense, a person's talent and creativity doesn't necessarily reflect their love and dedication to the band, this way every one has a chance. I personally spent a lot of time and effort on this and I'm extremely happy that I won, if only by luck.
